Input
(1) When both RNA and protein sequences are entered, PRIdictor predicts binding sites in both sequences with the      assumption that they interact with each other.
(2) When either protein or RNA sequence is entered, PRIdictor predicts binding sites in the given sequence.

Buttons

Example button: - fill the input box with sample sequences choosing one out of three choices
(1.Protein sequence 2.RNA sequence 3.Protein and RNA sequences).
Reset button: - empty the input box.
Submit button: - predict binding sites in the input sequence (s).
Output
Predicted binding sites with the classification threshold value of 0.5.
Protein

RNA

Position:
- nucleotide (or residue) number in the sequence.
- The sequence is shown in multiple lines with maximum 65 nucleotides (or residues) per line.

Sequence: - the input sequence.
Prediction: - binding sites and non-binding site predicted at each position of the sequence.

binding
- non-binding
Alternative prediction
Alternative prediction can be obtained with a different value of the classification threshold.
Predicted binding sites with the classification threshold value of 0.2

Predicted binding sites with the classification threshold value of 0.9

Visualization of prediction scores
Prediction results are shown in a colored bar chart. The colored bar chart shows prediction scores at every position of the sequence. When the user moves a mouse cursor to a bar, its position number in the sequence and prediction score are popped up.
Visualization of binding sites
If any protein-RNA complex structures in PDB are found to include the input sequence(s), PRIdictor visualizes the structures with binding sites highlighted. Click the PDB ID to display the structure.
